Justin Verlander struck out 11 and outpitched reigning Cy Young Award winner Cliff Lee for the second time in a week, and the Detroit Tigers beat the Cleveland Indians 1-0 Friday night. Curtis Granderson made a leaping catch at the wall with a runner on first in the ninth to preserve the win for the Tigers.
