Mariano Rivera gave up home runs to consecutive batters for the first time in his major league career, with Carl Crawford and Evan Longoria connecting in the ninth inning as the surging Tampa Bay Rays handed the New York Yankees their fifth consecutive loss, 8-6 on Thursday night. Longoria had two of Tampa Bay's six homers.
