Red Sox 1B Youkilis out vs. Yankees (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Boston first baseman Kevin Youkilis was out of the starting lineup for the series finale against the New York Yankees on Tuesday night because of tightness in his left side. Youkilis left Monday night's game in the sixth inning because of the injury. He hoped to return Wednesday against Cleveland at Fenway Park but wasn't sure.
