Arizona places RHP Gordon on 15-day DL (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The Arizona Diamondbacks placed reliever Tom Gordon on the 15-day disabled list Monday because of a left hamstring strain and recalled right-hander Leo Rosales from Triple-A Reno. This is the 10th trip to the DL for Gordon, a three-time All-Star who began his big league career in 1988 with Kansas City and saved 46 games for Boston 10 years later.
