Phil Hughes went six innings in his first start and left fielder Josh Anderson's error led to a 10-run seventh inning as the New York Yankees ended a four-game losing streak with an 11-0 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday night. Hughes (1-0), who was called up from Class AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, and Edwin Jackson dueled through six innings.
