Rockies' Hawpe to play after negative CT (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Colorado Rockies outfielder Brad Hawpe has a bruise on the back of his neck after he was hit by a pickoff throw, but he will be in uniform for Tuesday night's game against the Padres. Hawpe was taken from the field in a cart with a brace around his neck after San Diego catcher Nick Hundley's throw to second base hit him in the sixth inning Monday night.
