Royals activate OF Guillen from DL (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Jose Guillen was activated from the disabled list Saturday and started in right field for the Kansas City Royals against the Detroit Tigers. Guillen had been out with a partially torn right hip flexor tendon, leaving the Royals without one of their biggest offensive weapons. Guillen led the club with 20 homers and 97 RBIs in 2008.
