Twins designate Humber for assignment (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The Minnesota Twins are addressing their bullpen needs, claiming pitcher Juan Morillo off waivers and designating Philip Humber for assignment. Humber came to the Twins from the New York Mets in the Johan Santana trade. The right-hander must first clear waivers before being sent to the minors. Humber has a 12.46 ERA over 4 1-3 innings this season.
