San Diego Padres right-hander Walter Silva will miss his next scheduled start with a strained right forearm. Silva was injured while batting in the second inning of the Padres' 6-5 victory over the New York Mets on Monday night in the first regular-season game at Citi Field. The 32-year-old rookie stayed in and got a no-decision, allowing five runs and five hits in 4 2-3 innings.
