Mets set to officially open Citi Field (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

There will be a touch of the old and much of the new when the New York Mets play their first regular-season game in Citi Field, their new, $800 million ballpark. Hall-of-Famer Tom Seaver, who led the 1969 Miracle Mets to their first World Series title, will throw out the first pitch before the Mets take on the San Diego Padres.
