Jake Peavy pitched 8 1-3 strong innings, Adrian Gonzalez drove in three runs and Henry Blanco hit two home runs to lead the San Diego Padres to a 6-3 win over the San Francisco Giants on Saturday night. Peavy (1-1) was sharper than in the season opener on Monday when he took the loss in a 4-1 defeat to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
