Placido Polanco hit a tiebreaking double and five Detroit Tigers pitchers combined on a two-hitter Saturday in a 4-3 victory over the Texas Rangers. Nate Robertson (1-0) earned the win with two shutout innings of relief, and Fernando Rodney struck out the side in the ninth for his first save. Detroit's bullpen didn't allow a baserunner in four innings of work.
