Cubs C Soto out with sore right shoulder (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Cubs catcher Geovany Soto was out of Friday's game with the Milwaukee Brewers because of a sore right shoulder and likely will not play in the three-game series. Cubs manager Lou Piniella said the team physician determined Soto has tendinitis in the shoulder and expects the reigning NL Rookie of the Year to be available in a few days.
