John Lackey is prepping for the season while he gets updates from his agent about contract negotiations with the Los Angeles Angels. He's hoping to have a long-term deal in place before he gets the ball for a likely opening-day start. Lackey gave up two runs and four hits over three innings in the Angels' 9-5 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday.
