Duchscherer likely to begin season on DL (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

All-Star pitcher Justin Duchscherer is likely to begin the season on the disabled list after the Oakland Athletics right-hander left a minor league game with elbow pain Thursday. Duchscherer was making his first game appearance of the spring. He was scheduled to throw 35-40 pitches in a minor league game on the A's off day, but he had to cut the outing short.
