Phillies' Utley hitless in spring debut (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Chase Utley went 0-for-2 in his first spring training game and the Philadelphia Phillies beat the St. Louis Cardinals 2-1 on Sunday. Utley, who had hip surgery on Nov. 24, led off and played four innings at second base. Utley went 2-for-4 and struck out twice in a minor league intrasquad game at Philadelphia's training complex on Saturday.
