Justin Masterson struck out three in three scoreless innings and the Boston Red Sox beat the Tampa Bays Rays 8-2 in a spring game Sunday. Julio Lugo went 3-for-3 and drove in two runs for the Red Sox, improving his Grapefruit League average to .533 (8-for-15). Masterson allowed one hit and walked none.
