Nationals RHP Hill wins arbitration case (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Nationals pitcher Shawn Hill won his salary arbitration case Saturday when a panel awarded him the $775,000 contract he sought instead of the $500,000 the team offered. Hill was the first player in the majors to go to a hearing this year. The panel of Elizabeth Neumeier, Robert Bailey and Fredric Horowitz heard Hill's case Friday.
