Diamondbacks, RHP Gordon agree to deal (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Relief pitcher Tom Gordon agreed Friday to a $500,000, one-year contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks. The 41-year-old right-hander, a member of last season's World Series champion Philadelphia Phillies, can make an additional $2 million in bonuses under the agreement. Gordon was 5-4 with two saves and a 5.16 ERA last year.
