Torre to promote book on Letterman show (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Former Yankees and current Dodgers manager Joe Torre is scheduled to appear on "Late Show with David Letterman" next Wednesday to promote his new book. Torre's first interview to discuss "The Yankee Years" is slated for "Larry King Live" on Friday. He also is scheduled for appearances Tuesday at a Manhattan book store and at the Yogi Berra Museum in Little Falls, N.J.
