Angels, LHP Oliver agree on 1-yr, $3.6M (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Darren Oliver and the Los Angeles Angels avoided arbitration, agreeing Friday to a one-year contract worth $3,665,000. The left-hander became a free agent after the season, then accepted the Angels' arbitration offer last month. He was 7-1 with a 2.88 ERA in 54 relief appearances last year, when he made $2 million.
