City of Winter Haven, Fla., sues Indians (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The city of Winter Haven has filed a lawsuit against its former spring training tenant, the Cleveland Indians. The lawsuit filed Dec. 31 claims the team owes the city $107,454 in parking, concession, ticket and advertising revenues. The city is also seeking lawyers' fees and interest on the amount that it said it is owed from the 2004 and 2005 spring training seasons.
