Maine associate resigns amid sex charges (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The associate men's basketball coach at the University of Maine has resigned after being charged with making sexual advances on a student athlete. Mike Burden resigned Monday after being placed on paid administrative leave a day earlier by Athletic Director Blake James. University spokesman Joe Carr says James had no further comment because of personnel and legal issues.
