Lawson still uncertain for ACC tourney (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

North Carolina point guard Ty Lawson did some conditioning work and shot free throws prior to the team's departure for the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament, but his playing status remains in doubt. School spokesman Steve Kirschner said it's possible that Lawson won't play when the top-seeded Tar Heels face Virginia Tech on Friday.
