Nutt hired to coach SE Missouri State (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Longtime Arkansas State coach Dickey Nutt has been hired as the new basketball coach at Southeast Missouri State. He joins a school that went 3-27 and is facing possible NCAA sanctions. Athletic director John Shafer introduced Nutt at a news conference Thursday in Cape Girardeau. Nutt spent 13 seasons at Arkansas State, where he was 189-186.
