Ashley Sweat scored 19 points to lead No. 22 Kansas State past Colorado 68-51 Thursday in the first round of Big 12 Conference tournament. Marlies Gipson added 14 points, 10 rebounds and four assists for her fifth double-double of the season for Kansas State (24-6), which won its first Big 12 tournament game since 2006.
