Kent State's Singletary suspended 1 game (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Kent State guard Chris Singletary has been suspended for Tuesday's opening round Mid-American Conference tournament game against Northern Illinois for punching an Akron player Sunday. Singletary was ejected from Sunday's game for punching Akron's Nate Linhart in the stomach 1:08 into the contest. Singletary was also assessed a flagrant personal foul.
