McCoughtry scores 31 as Louisville edges Pitt (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Angel McCoughtry scored 31 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to help No. 5 Louisville hold off 14th-ranked Pittsburgh 69-63 on Monday night in the semifinals of the Big East tournament. Louisville (29-3) will face Connecticut in the tournament championship for the second consecutive season. The top-ranked and unbeaten Huskies routed Villanova 72-42 in the other semifinal.
