Nestor out as Elon coach (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Ernie Nestor has stepped down after six seasons as Elon basketball coach. Athletic director Dave Blank said in a statement Monday night that the school had begun a search for a new coach, and team spokesman Matt Eviston confirmed later that night that the 62-year-old Nestor resigned. He was 67-117 in six seasons at Elon.
