Kalin Lucas scored 21 points to help No. 8 Michigan State win its fifth straight game, 62-51 over No. 19 Purdue on Sunday. The Spartans (25-5, 15-3 Big Ten) already had clinched the outright Big Ten championship, but their performance against the scrappy Boilermakers should make them a heavy favorite to win the conference tournament as well.
