Curry scores 43 as Davidson advances (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Stephen Curry scored 43 points to lead Davidson to an 84-68 victory over Appalachian State in the quarterfinals of the Southern Conference tournament Saturday. Davidson (26-6) led 44-34 at halftime with Curry playing only 10 minutes due to foul trouble. Appalachian State (13-18) pulled within 56-55 with 10:42 to go, but the Wildcats responded with a 10-0 run.
