Nisleit nets career-best 19 points to lift Iowa St (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Amanda Nisleit scored a career-high 19 points to lead No. 25 Iowa State to a 59-52 win over Texas Tech on Saturday night. Heather Ezell added 16 points, including three 3-pointers for the Cyclones (21-7, 9-5 Big 12). Iowa State held a 22-16 halftime lead, but Texas Tech scored the first seven points of the second half to take a one-point advantage.
