Singler passes No. 7 Duke past hard-charging Hokies (sportsline.com)

Kyle Singler scored 19 of his 21 points in the second half and threw a long pass for a breakaway layup on an inbounds play in the final minute Saturday as No. 7 Duke withstood a furious rally by Virginia Tech and beat the Hokies 72-65.
