No. 13 Xavier beats Fordham 75-47 for A10 title (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Ta'Shia Phillips had 22 points and 18 rebounds Saturday, leading No. 13 Xavier to a 75-47 victory over Fordham that clinched the Musketeers' second Atlantic 10 regular-season championship. Xavier (25-5, 13-1) cut down the nets after winning its first such title in eight years. The Musketeers finished third in the conference each of the last two seasons, but won its tournament.
