Ashley Barlow scored the first eight points of a 10-0 rally in the second half, leading No. 23 Notre Dame to a 65-56 victory over Providence on Saturday. Notre Dame (20-7, 9-6 Big East) and Providence (10-18, 4-10) were tied at 41 when Barlow buried consecutive 3-pointers and then scored on a layup after her steal.
