Iowa athletic official named NCAA committee chair (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Jane Meyer has been appointed to chair the NCAA's Division I Women's Basketball Committee for the 2009-10 academic year. The senior associate athletic director Iowa, Meyer will lead the 10-person committee that runs the NCAA women's tournament. The group's main responsibility is to select at-large teams and determine seeding for the 64-team field.
