Mississippi upsets No. 18 Vanderbilt 71-69 (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Kayla Melson's layup gave Mississippi the lead with 6 seconds left, and what seemed like a game-tying shot by Jence Rhoads was overturned, preserving the Rebels' stunning 71-69 win over No. 18 Vanderbilt on Sunday. Melson's layup was her only basket of the game, pushing the Rebels (16-12, 5-8 Southeastern Conference) to a late two-point lead.
