Allison Hightower scored 16 points and LSU defeated Georgia 57-46 on Thursday night. LaSondra Barrett added 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Tigers (14-9, 7-4 Southeastern Conference). LSU, which took a 10-2 lead with 14:30 left in the first half, stretched its advantage to 21-12 on a pair of free throws by Barrett with 8:57 left until halftime.
