No. 21 Iowa State defeats Colorado 53-47 (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Nicky Wieben scored 18 points to lead No. 21 Iowa State to a 53-47 victory over Colorado on Saturday for the Cyclones' fifth straight win. Iowa State (18-4, 6-2 Big 12) led by as many as 18 in the first half and went into halftime with a 31-22 lead. Colorado (10-11, 2-7) cut the deficit to five early in the second half but could get no closer.
