Jennifer Warkenthien scored 19 of her 29 points in the first half as No. 24 South Dakota State beat Oakland University 88-75 on Saturday to take sole possession of first place in the Summit League. Warkenthien also had 12 rebounds for the Jackrabbits (20-2, 9-1), who have won six straight games. Their last loss was at the Golden Grizzlies (16-5, 8-2), whose eight-game winning streak came to an end.
