Lavender leads Ohio St. past Purdue (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Jantel Lavender scored 21 points to help No. 19 Ohio State beat Purdue 71-60 on Sunday. Samantha Prahalis had 13 points and six assists and Ashlee Trebilcock added 12 points for the Buckeyes (16-3, 7-1 Big Ten). With Indiana's loss at Illinois, Ohio State moved into sole possession of first place in the conference.
