KU beats Iowa State despite Brackins' 42 (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Kansas guard Sherron Collins matched his career high with 26 points -- including 18 in the first 12 minutes -- and the Jayhawks beat Iowa State 82-67 for their fourth straight win. Cole Aldrich added 16 points and 12 rebounds for the Jayhawks, who survived a 42-point, 14-rebound effort from Iowa State's Craig Brackins to stay perfect in Big 12 play.
