Ashley Walker had 20 points and seven rebounds and No. 8 California held off Oregon State for a 77-72 victory Thursday night. Alexis Gray-Lawson added 19 points and Natasha Vital 18 for the Golden Bears (15-2, 6-0 Pac-10), who avoided a letdown after a big home victory against rival Stanford on Sunday.
