Florida State knocks off No. 24 Georgia Tech (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Jacinta Monroe had 15 points, 10 rebounds, and a school record nine blocks to help Florida State extend its winning streak to seven games with a 59-49 victory over No. 24 Georgia Tech on Sunday. She was one block shy of the the first triple-double in school history. Trailing 46-45, Courtney Ward keyed a closing 14-3 closing run for the Seminoles (16-4, 4-0 Atlantic Coast Conference).
