UConn's Doty out for the season with knee injury (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Connecticut freshman guard Caroline Doty will miss the rest of the season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee in Saturday's win over Syracuse. A MRI exam showed that Doty tore the ACL, the school announced Sunday. It's the same knee that was surgically repaired in September 2007.
