Monica Wright scored 20 points and No. 15 Virginia rebounded from a sluggish start to beat Wake Forest 77-59 on Sunday. Wright, who also had nine rebounds, scored seven points and senior forward Lyndra Littles added eight of her 19 points for the Cavaliers (14-2, 1-0 ACC) during a 24-0 run in the final minutes of the game.
