Penn State upsets No. 14 Purdue 67-64 (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Short-handed and a step slower, No. 14 Purdue couldn't overcome Penn State. Talor Battle scored 21 points, Danny Morrissey hit a key 3-pointer late and Purdue went eight minutes without a field goal in the second half as the Nittany Lions beat the Boilermakers, 67-64 on Tuesday night. Stanley Pringle added 18 for Penn State (13-3, 2-1 Big Ten), which is off to its best start in 13 seasons.
