Jordan scores 53 in 106-95 Commerce loss to ACU (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Britney Jordan scored 53 points, but it still wasn't enough for Texas A&M-Commerce, which lost 106-95 to Abilene Christian on Saturday. Jordan made 21 of 39 field goal attempts and 11 free throws for the Lions (7-3), setting a Lone Star Conference scoring record. The 53 points is the ninth most in Division II history.
