SE Missouri State fires coach Edgar (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Southeast Missouri State University has fired men's basketball coach Scott Edgar. The school said it terminated its contract with Edgar on Tuesday. He had been on administrative leave since the fall. Southeast Missouri received a notice of allegations from the NCAA concerning possible major violations involving the men's basketball program in October.
