Pedro Avila - Football Player

I really stepped up my game for junior year. During defensive auditions I rocked the field with my speed, strength, and aggression. I earned the starting MLB position alongside fellow MLB Brad Basala. Together Brad and I created the basis of our team's defense and lead the team into our best defensive season in my high school career.

Sophomore year was not as kind to me in the statistics. My coach decided to be a very pass heavy team so I did not get many carries, but whenever I would get the ball you could bet that I was going to run hard.

Freshman season got off to a rocky start because I had not played the fullback or linebacker before. Through extra training and help from my coaches I got the swing of my positions and responsibilities. With enough training I became starting JV linebacker and fullback. Throughout the season I would lift our teams spirits and set the pace for the rest of the team with 5 touchdowns and a 7-2 season with 2 touchdowns away from a perfect season.
